My father left Dubno at age 15, leaving behind his mother, a brother and sister-in-law and other relatives. He was in touch with the family until the Germans moved east. After WW II, I tried Locating Bureaus in both Poland and the Soviet Union, but could never get any response. We knew that Dubno had been wiped out, but nothing else. Neither my brother, nor I, have ever been able to find any information about
Dubno.

The family name was Rinzberg. My grandma was Leah, and uncle was Yonkel – just drew a blank on his wife’s name. I would love to find out any information that Mr. Kesler might have about Dubno or possibly my family. Grandma had a little
stand outside their house, where she sold milk and butter. Their names are listed as Holocaust victims on some list that my daughter found.
