Bahar is an Iranian-American woman and recovering oral/maxillofacial surgeon. Her works have been published in The Austin Chronicle, Mslexia, The Frisky, Na’amat Woman Magazine, and In the Night Count the Stars Anthology, among others. She was a keynote speaker for FAILURE:LAB in Chicago, a movement chronicling stories of failures behind successes.
